On Friday I made the Broccoli Crust Pizza. Before we tried it, the kids were acting like I was trying to poison them. lol

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 C)
- Finely chop steamed broccoli or place in food processor until grated. Squeeze water out. I use this fine mesh Nut milk bag strainer because it’s sturdy and does a good job at squeezing the water out. Transfer broccoli to a large bowl – add egg, 1 cup mozzarella, and ¼ cup Parmesan. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix together.
- Transfer dough to a parchment-lined, greased baking sheet and shape into a thin, round crust. Bake until golden and dried out, about 20 minutes. (It should look like on the photo above)
- Top with marinara, remaining cheeses and pepperoni (or your other favorite toppings) and bake until cheese is melted and crust is crispy, 10 minutes more. Garnish with basil.
