It seems like this past summer went by really quickly. My family and I were so busy we didn’t have much time to watch any of our favorite shows on Netflix. My husband and I did manage to finish the most recent season of “Orange is the New Black”, and we started watching season one of “Weeds.”
My mother in law who recently shared with us that she binged watched all the seasons of “Weeds” over a three-week time period, highly recommended the show. I have to say it is a pretty wild show. It sort of reminds me of “Breaking Bad”, but without all of the crazy violence. I can definitely see how people get into the show. It is serious yet comical at times and it deals with allot of issues that many people face. So in that respect viewers can identify with the characters.
Now that the kids are back to school and all of our summer vacations are done, we are getting back into the routine of things. All of the fall TV shows will be starting up their new seasons again. I have to say I prefer watching shows on Netflix rather than network TV. Netflix gives my family the flexibility to start and stop watching shows around our busy schedules. That way we are not tied down to the Network TV’s schedule.
One of my favorite shows “The Walking Dead” will be starting up again in October. My husband and I can’t wait for that. Last night I actually went back and started watching episode 1 from season 1 on Netflix. I have to say it was really weird to see Rick as a zombie rookie once again. I think it is good to go back and watch old episodes of a show that has been around for a while. It gives you a fresh perspective on the original idea of the show and sometimes you see something that you missed the first time around.
Speaking of re-watching episodes I definitely have to re-watch the first two seasons of “The Blacklist” with James Spader. I did my best to watch the episodes when they aired on the network but kept missing bits and pieces. Thanks to Netflix I wont have to worry about a thing. Plus I can also watch the show with subtitles. This is a plus plus especially when it comes to James Spader’s low but serious voice.
Now I want to hear from you! Which shows are on your Netflix shelfie list? Thanks to Netflix, Check out the great library of fall shows you can stream this month on Netflix.
