As part of my efforts to get back on track in the new year, I participated in a sponsored post for Slimfast where I agreed to take part in a 14 day challenge and share my results. All opinions are my own.
I’ll admit, one of my new year resolutions is to lose 30 pounds that I somehow gained during the holiday season and especially after Halloween. I’m 5 feet and 7 inches and my healthy weight is around 150 pounds. Today I’m 178 pounds 🙁 and most of it sitting around my belly area. I try to eat balanced and healthy meals, I don’t eat junk food and I exercise every day by doing Zumba Wii at my home. I have to admit I still have a gym membership but lately ever since my husband got me a new exercising video I was giving excuses to myself not to go to the gym but instead exercise at home. So I did that. But at home I exercise in more relaxed way and sometimes I shorten my classes to 20 minutes a day. I keep thinking about my gym and giving myself excuses that I’m so busy and have so much stuff to do and I keep postponing my gym. I have discovered the longer I go without correcting the problem the worst it becomes! So this year I’m starting my new year challenge by going to the gym 4 times a week and by taking party in 14-Day Slimfast Challenge.
