Well it is all set the two teams that will face off in this year’s Super bowl are going to be the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. Both of these teams come from the states that legalized marijuana this past year. They will both meet at the stadium of the New Jersey Giants, that is provided if they can find it on February 2nd 2014 . MetLife Stadium, which is actually located in New Jersey, will be the host of Super bowl 48 or should we just call this Super bowl 420. This game is already being dubbed “The Marijuana Bowl” by some to the dismay of the league. Oh well what can you say I’m sure none of the players on either team actually partake in marijuana usage, wink, wink. Well in the spirit of the game and parties that will be going on that day I would like to share some delicious marijuana infused recipes for my readers to enjoy.
First off when your guests arrive you want to make sure you have some finger foods and snack trays out. I know your probably thinking chips and dips right? Well here is something that is a twist on an old favorite of mine and it is Cannabis Chex Mix. Yes that’s right and old goody and favorite of mine just got a little bit better. Now I already mentioned chips and dips but lets try a twist on the old dip. How about Cannabis- infused Guacamole Dip? With that kind of dip your guests will be asking do you have any more chips? Along with that you can treat them to a hot appetizer of Cannabis Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. Now all three of these delicious appetizers are sure to taste great and get your guests appetites primed for the rest of your delicious treats.
While the game is going on your guests can continue to munch on the chips and guacamole as well as any other appetizers you have put out. Of course for those guests who are not green friendly you should put out some clean appetizers if you know what I’m saying. As the game approached half time you will want to have your main hot dishes ready and primed. Believe me your guests are going to want an excuse to miss the boring half-time show with Bruno Mars. Sorry but to me all of his songs sound the same and he does not deserve to headline the half-time show.
It is my opinion that no super football party should be without hot wings. Some call them Buffalo wings supposedly named after the city where they were invented. Come on now are we supposed to believe that the first time anyone put hot sauce on a chicken wing was in Buffalo NY? I’m pretty sure that cayenne pepper and other hot peppers were put on chicken wings long before Buffalo NY was even on the map. I will leave it at that though since this blog is not about the history of chicken wings. Being a professional wing chef myself I know my way around the hot wing. I have been perfecting the most amazing hot wing sauce for the last 10 years. With that said I’m a pretty good judge of wings sauces. Okay so lets get back to the game. You must serve hot wings for the big game. Your guests (unless they’re vegans) will be expecting it. Try this recipe called “Fire it up Wings” and I’m sure they will be very happy with the results. When you click on the link you will notice I left out the word buffalo here. Well I’m sorry I can no longer give credit where credit is so unsure of giving. If that makes sense to everyone?
You see all this talk about the super bowl and cannabis has sent my mind off on a tangent. Is it a coincidence that Pink Floyd is now playing on my Pandora music feed? Maybe not, I always had a feeling that google could read my mind. Come on I’m sure by now with all of those billions they have come up with an algorithm that can read minds. Speaking of minds do not forget that all of these recipes can have an impact on your mind. Things will tend to slow down a bit and the big game may seem to go on forever. Well actually it really does go on forever its not just you. I look forward to feedback on any of these recipes.
