We wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
It’s been a good relaxed Christmas.. I’m glad I didn’t have a need for last minute panic shopping this year.. Most of my Christmas shopping I did online through Amazon and Ebay. Even the cooking went good. I had prepared the simple and easy meal for Christmas eve dinner. We had yummy and filling Easy Christmas Eve meal – Maple Pecan Salmon with roasted corn and Arugula Salad on the side. I also fried up some left over pasta for my kids while testing out my new Ozeri Green Earth Pan.
For Christmas morning I told my kids they should not wake up before 8 AM. lol. If they do they should just patiently wait in their room and wait for my husband and I to wake up. I told them if I’m not up by 9 AM they should come to my room and wake me up. They came exactly at 9 AM and woke me up. For the last 2 years my husband was bringing my 7 y.o. daughter downstairs to our bedroom to sleep with him to avoid accidental wake up super early. This seem to work for the last 2 years. So for this reason I had to sleep in my daughter’s room by myself.
Everyone was happy with their presents (I think). As usual I thought the kids were overloaded with presents but after opening each one by taking turns they end up with small piles. The 7-year old probably the most happy with hers as she got at least 5-6 things from her Christmas list. She got some cool toys from her list and one of them was Nerf Rebelle Heartbreaker Bow.
She was really excited about getting this gift and then she and her brother went to her room she had scissor to cut the box open and the first thing she did was cut the string for the bow 🙁 Oh man she was so upset but what can you do? I told her she can not open boxed presents without the adult supervision.
My best part was my husband gifted me the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition And new Zumba Fitness for Wii! Woohooo. This is my first Tablet ever and my second Zumba Wii game – Great way to start sweating myself and getting into the exercise mode from the very beginning of 2014! Rocks!
My husband is the luckiest one of all. He got the Cowboys 94 Jersey!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2014!
